Sports Performance Coach
Coach Scott is a native to the surrounding Cumberland Valley earning his undergraduate degree from Shippensburg University. During his time there, he acted as an assistant strength and conditioning coach as well as a football student-coach.
From Shippensburg University, Coach Scott went onto Penn State University working as a strength and conditioning intern for 13 different men and women’s Olympic sports that included baseball, softball, swimming and diving, rugby, golf, tennis and the eventual 2015 NCAA National Champion Women’s Soccer team.
Coach Scott then accepted an invitation to work with the University of Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team as a strength and conditioning intern. Accolades from the team included a SEC Championship, a Heisman Trophy Winner, 14 NFL Draft picks (6 in the first two rounds) and a NCAA National Championship.
Since leaving the University of Alabama, Coach Scott has acted as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Scotland Campus and recently accepting the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Sport Performance. Coach Scott oversees all aspects of the strength and conditioning program, athlete nutrition and hydration, supplementation and assists in athlete’s injury rehabilitation and prevention.
Coach Scott now hold a Master’s Degree is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. A certified Sport Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting and a certified Reflexive Performance Reset coach. Coach Scott is also working to attain certification through the Colligate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
