Head Soccer Coach
(Former player of the 11-time National Champion Messiah College Falcons.)
Scott currently holds the “Advanced National Diploma” from United Soccer Coaches, and the United States Soccer Federation National “D” license along with several additional certificates and diplomas. Scott has over 20 years of coaching experience that includes working along-side coaches from the University of North Carolina, Duke and NC State. He began his professional coaching at Triangle United Soccer Association in NC (one of America’s top 40 youth clubs according to Soccer America). Scott’s leadership and coaching has been recognized by his peers by being named Virginia Regional High School Coach of the Year. Scott’s style of coaching and his ability to adapt has his teams consistently competing for conference and tournament championships. This is evident by leading multiple teams to conference and state championship games.
As a player, Scott was an intelligent midfielder. His high school team was ranked 7th in the nation and his U-18 select team was one of the top teams in the state of Colorado. Scott was a four-year starter at the collegiate level where he captained two of those years. He finished his college career with a BA in Outdoor Recreation at Messiah College, (11-time NCAA Division III National Champions).
