Brian Koller will begin the 2021-22 School year as the Head Coach for women’s high school at Scotland Campus.
Brian Previously served as the graduate assistant coach for women’s basketball at Henderson State in 2020-21.
Koller comes to Henderson following a three-year stint at Pratt Community College in Kansas. During his time with the Beavers, Koller helped rebuild the program as Pratt’s head recruiting coordinator and recruited three players who went on to play at NCAA Division I schools: Courtney Cleveland (Sam Houston State), Rylee Alexander (Idaho) and Janell Douvier (Southern Illinois).
In his first two seasons, the Beavers improved by 17 wins with a roster that featured 12 new players. Koller’s other responsibilities with Pratt included practice planning, on-floor coaching, game plans, scouts and video editing.
Before his time at Pratt, Koller was the assistant coach for the women’s basketball team at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana. Koller was Centenary’s lead recruiter in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas, and led and designed player workouts for the Ladies.
Prior to entering full-time coaching, Koller spent two summers as a video assistant for the Dallas Wings (formerly Tulsa Shock) of the WNBA in 2015 and 2017. With the Wings, Koller assisted with the day-to-day operations of the video department and edited film for coaches to help the team prepare for upcoming games. In addition to his video work in the WNBA, he spent the 2015-16 season as the remote video coordinator for Cal State-Los Angeles, and provided the Golden Eagles with analysis and breakdowns of games via Synergy Sports software.
A 2016 graduate of Indiana State University, Koller was the Lady Sycamores’ undergraduate student manager for three seasons and holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management.
